The mission of FoSG is to provide safe and secure access to George B. Salter Memorial Grove and its environs, to improve its landscape and facilities so as to encourage the sustainable enjoyment of this natural area, and to enhance its ecological value as part of the Narragansett Bay watershed.

FoSG will work with the City of Warwick to enhance the Park and its physical facilities, and to rehabilitate its biological environment, to make them more secure, attractive, and functional. A principal goal will be to encourage use of the Park’s natural resources to improve physical and mental well being.
